Workshop Description

Based on the teachings of Body-Mind Centering®, you will learn ways to open your senses to connect with the inner workings of your body through movement, touch, voice and meditation. Through direct experience, discover the dynamic qualities of your organs, bones, glands, fascia and fluids. Benefits include improving your technical abilities, enhancing your creative and physical powers, preventing injuries, and gaining a deeper knowledge of yourself, your body, and a sense of well-being. You will also learn helpful tools for working with others, and how to apply these teachings to your personal and professional practices.

“The mind is like the wind and the body like the sand: if you want to see how the wind is blowing, you can look at the sand.”

– Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen- Founder of Body-Mind Centering

“BMC gives me insight into movement potential from a perspective that is anatomically sound, creative and joyful. The work is intellectually stimulating and honours the remarkable complexity of the body.”
– Tama Soble – Co-owner of Esther Myers Yoga Studio (Toronto)
