Boo!

2009

Vivacity, sensitivity and ingenuity in worlds where the poetry of the body is at the fore. A rendez-vous with the unexpected that will leave you smiling.

Boo! proposes eleven distinct choreographies:

Penelope Topsy Turvy
Cyril's Treasure
Charlotte's Success
Vertical Study 1
Vertical Study 2
Vertical Study 3
O and A
Study in the Round 1
Study in the Round 2
Study in the Round 3
Charlotte & Cyril

Each piece offers a distinct and renewed movement style.

For any given venue, the artistic director composes a program of 4 to 5 choreographies (55-60 minutes), looking to create a progression in the succession of the works, as well as to establish a rhythm and flow that allows the audience to move easily from one universe to another. This concept offers young audiences a variety of choreographic proposals, and exposes them to a range of contemporary dance in the same program.

This à la carte formula also allows for keeping in mind the target audience and/or the technical conditions of the theatre where the production will be presented when choosing the program.
