Let’s get together and chant Spring Marmelade!

In a bold reinterpretation of Italian Renaissance painter Sandro Botticelli’s painting Le Printemps, where the dance is at times delicate and at times unrestrained, this new show by the Sherbrooke dance company Sursaut offers a fusion of classical elegance and punk energy. Through humorous and offbeat scenes, this creation explores powerful themes: identity, power relations, the quest for self and social cohesion, revealing both the tensions and contradictions of human relationships and the many facets of harmony and love.

Spring Marmelade is a cry for freedom, a marmalade of emotions that simmers together, every day.
