Émilie Demers

Graduate from the Contemporary danse school Montréal in 2006, Emilie started her career alongside choreographers such as Harold Réhaume and Lucie Grégoire. Closely involved in the foundation of Ample Man Danse company, she has developed her skills as a dance performer as well as in artistic management. Also an occupational therapist at the CHUM hospital since 2011, she has cultivated the therapeutic power of her art and developed multiple projects of inclusive and adapted dance.

More recently, Emilie collaborated in dance productions alongside Martin Messier in 14 Lieux and Bouge de là company with the productions À travers mes yeux and Kaléidoscope. In the last years, she broadened her interests in hip hop culture and created Collectif Flow with Romain Gailhaguet, combining breakingv and contemporary dance. In 2022, she integrates ZemmourBallet company and joins the production Échos from Sursaut dance company.
