  • 10 January 2018 - Me squared presented in Sherbrooke in January

Me squared, a production choreographed by Stéphanie Brochard, returns to Sherbrooke. Premiered in 2015, the production has been fine-tuned and will be presented to the general public at the Centre culturel at the University of Sherbrooke on January 14th as part of the Choux-Bizz series. Two school matinées will also be presented on January 15th. This contemporary work features three characters performed by Amandine Garrido Gonzalez, Jasmine Inns and Xavier Malo. At the dawn of adolescence, they confront each other in their need to express both their individuality and their need to belong to a group. This quest for identity, particularly strong at this stage of life, is manifested through a dynamic and bubbling physicality that ably portrays both conflict and communion.
