This workshop proposes an immersion into the world of choreographic creation.

One of the company’s performers, will share his or her experience and address the process involved in conceiving a choreographic work. He or she will then present a choreographic excerpt from the company’s enchanting and magical production Moeira, inspired by the Greek myth of the Three Moires, sisters of destiny.

Through improvisation led by the performer, the students will be invited to get themselves moving, thus awakening their coordination, their concentration, and their imagination. They will then be taught a short, fun, and easy to learn choreographic sequence, plunging right to the heart of being a performer.

The workshop will end with a discussion about the profession of dancer/performer, and all it entails. The students will have a chance to ask questions and learn more about this artistic universe.
