Gabrielle Simard

Gabrielle graduated from the École de danse contemporaine de Montréal in 2013. She continued her training through workshops in Belgium and the United States, and then further enhanced her skills in Montreal by adding urban dance to her repertoire. She co-founded CORPUS Collective, which was part of the second season of Révolution, and is also a co-choreographer alongside José Flores. Their latest short film, "RESURGO," has been selected in several festivals worldwide and has won awards, as did their first short film, "Entre les lignes," created in 2019.

She is passionate about creation and has directed many of her own choreographies, including "Communicare" at the Quartiers Danses Festival in 2020. She has worked as a performer with the Opéra de Québec, choreographer Sébastien Cossette-Masse, and Cirque du Soleil. She has collaborated on numerous music videos as a dancer and occasionally as a choreographer for artists such as Lia Kuri, Edwin Raphaël, Isaac B., and Alaclair Ensemble, to name a few. Currently, she is involved with the dance companies Ample Man Danse, Fleuve Espace Danse and Sursaut.
