Mélanie Lebrun

Mélanie Lebrun received her dance training in classical ballet and modern dance at the Collège Jean-Eudes. After finishing a B.Sc in Biology at McGill University in Montreal, she continued her training with Lubica Dobalova. She has worked as a soloist with Ballet Ouest de Montréal and has also performed with Les petits ballets in Ottawa, and the Opéra de Montréal. She danced in works by Balanchine and Brian Macdonald as part of the Banff Summer Arts Festival Dance Program in 2004. She is also a dance teacher, communicating her love for dance to young and old alike. Mélanie joined the Sursaut Dance Company in 2006.
