The company is happy to announce the three projects that were selected in the context of the call for creation projects in dance for young audiences, launched last fall.
Morgane Le Tiec, Julien Derradj and Idan Cohen will benefit from a residency at the Centre des arts de la scène Jean-Besré, in order to develop their choreographic project. The proposals that were chosen stand out through the quality and depth of their artistic vision, in which movement is at the heart of the creative process.
A pioneer in Canada in the creation of dance for young and family audiences, Sursaut wished to offer a platform to support choreographic research in dance for young audiences. Being their first venture into the universe of creation for youth, this opportunity will permit these three artists to deepen their artistic approach in this direction.
