Lay or religious, rituals participate in the construction of identity and of the individual.
The choreographer wishes to reintroduce ritual into a body in search of identity and sense, through research grounded in space, time, and the notion of cycle.
Drawing inspiration from ancestral rituals of numerous cultures, notably the Egyptian Ka, which represents one part of the human soul, the artist creates a movement style that wishes to honor the ritual act itself.
