Élise Legrand

Elise Legrand graduated from the Conservatoire de danse de Montréal in 2002, and has danced for several choreographers and dance companies such as Sinha Danse, the Cirque du Soleil, the Danse Lhasa Danse project, the Sursaut Dance company, Axile, Catherine Archambault, Silken Dance, Krea Movo and Ballet Ouest de Montréal. Her work has lead her to participate in many tours throughout Canada and abroad. She develops her own choreographic projects and in situ creations, with a particular interest in non-conventional venues and the combination of dance with other artistic disciplines. Elise is co-founder of the circus company LaboKracBoom, as well as accordionist with ZeRadcliffe Fanfare. Elise joined the cast of The Cicada and the Ant in 2016. She also participated in the production Essaim with her creation The Oxymoronic Dream.
